THE AUTHOR

author

Ojul Odora Onesimus is a retired Ophthalmic Clinical Officer based in Kitgum District, Uganda.

Prior to scripting an account of my life, my career started as a teacher, I subsequently enrolled as a clinical Nurse before retiring as an Ophthalmic Clinical Officer.

My storytelling competence is moulded around the culture and tradition of my people, where the fireplace (Wangoo) is designed for home-schooling.

‘My life’ is a firsthand account of my inspiring life journey through decades of civil war and civil service in Northern Uganda. An account of resilience and endurance of a man with a vision of transformational education.

This autobiography is my debut work, as a published Writer. In this book, I highlighted a journey of triumph over many daunting adversities to showcase the power of how one man’s story can inspire a generation. I use this story to pass on wisdom attained from my lifetime experiences to my descendants.
